With this mission in mind, from Arcor Foundation, we promote and support projects with a focus on the girls and boys education by strengthening the community organizations that address the comprehensive development of childhood from an educational perspective; generating training processes; establishing the issue in the social agenda; and mobilizing all the involved agents: the family, school, State, grassroots organizations and companies.

In order to achieve this, our actions are oriented towards two institutional strategies:

  • Knowledge Management: to produce and share theoretical and methodological knowledge that contributes to the equality of educational opportunities.
  • Mobilization and Incidence: to contribute to install the importance of working in favor of educational opportunities for the children in society and in the public agenda.

Following a professional criterion and a long-term vision, Arcor Foundation works through four lines of action that are influenced by a dynamic that promotes the dissemination of its activities and the publication of its experiences and lessons learned in order to sensitize society and  have an impact on the practices and policies in favor of childhood.

Territorial approaches

Support and promotion of educational projects carried out by organizations from communities across the country so that the right of education for children is made effective.

Training and Education

Execution and support for the education and training proposals that are looking to strengthen people and organizations that address the subject of childhood.

Studies and Research

Development of childhood-related research that produces knowledge not only for its area but also for other organizations’. This development can be individual or in partnership with centers of studies and academic units.

Social and Public Mobilization

Mobilization of the public and private actors of society to recreate the space of childhood as a responsibility of all through studies, seminars, workshops and agreements with companies and municipalities.
