On entering the Arcor Foundation site, from now on Arcor Foundation, at the address www.fundacionarcor.org , from now on the Site, and/or any of the pages that you might get to know through it, You assume the commitment of paying due observance to the following terms and conditions indicated. If you are not willing to observe these, please do no enter this site.

All contents in the site, including but not limiting texts, graphics, logos, images, icons and files, hardware and software, as well as the brands Arcor Foundation and www.fundacionarcor.org are property of Arcor Foundation (except the contrary is specified) and are protected by the Copyright laws. The contents could be used as a tool for communication and/or information; any other use, including reproduction, modification, distribution or transmission without the expressed authorization of Arcor Foundation, is strictly forbidden.

We let you know that the information provided on entering this Site is the exclusive responsibility of the companies, universities, and organizations, and/or third parties that supply it being Arcor Foundation outside any responsibility that might correspond for it.

The information is provided as it is. Arcor Foundation is not responsible for the veracity or accuracy of the information provided in this Site, nor for the changes that might occur in it, nor for the losses or damage, either direct, indirect or emerging, that might come up because of:

Privacy policies

Statement on Arcor Foundation policy with respect to the privacy of the data incorporated to the site.

General Statement
Due to the fact that Arcor Foundation compiles certain type of information related to users of the Site, we believe that you should fully understand our policy with respect to the use of the information we collect. This statement on privacy policy reveals what information we collect, how we use it and how it may be corrected or changed.

1. How do we collect information?
Arcor Foundation only collects your personal data when you provide them in a direct way and with your expressed and informed consent.
The purposes of Arcor Foundation when collecting personal information may be to include services to the User, net management, surveys, subscriptions, and other information exchanges in its Site.
Arcor Foundation shall not reveal or share this information that may identify the persons with any other company or organization without the informed consent of the User that provides such information (with the exception of being required by law or at the request of the government); such consent may be rendered at choosing the option of collecting information as described in point 5, below. The added data enable Arcor Foundation to analyze the traffic of the Site.

2. What does Arcor Foundation do with the information it collects?
Arcor Foundation uses the contact information of the users to send information on Arcor Foundation. The users may decide not to receive information in the future; see point 5 below to decide if you wish to receive or not such information. Arcor Foundation may use this personal information to determine the demographic data of the users and distribute statistical information. Such demographic data of the users always represent added information and they never identify a specific user.

The personal information you supplied to Arcor Foundation shall not be revealed to anybody outside Arcor Foundation. Arcor Foundation may use its IP address to help in the diagnosis of problems with the server and administer Arcor Foundation’s Web page.

3. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file with data that some Web sites write in their hard disk when you visit them. A cookie file may contain such information as the user’s identification to track the pages you have visited. But the only personal information a cookie may contain is the information you yourself have supplied. A cookie cannot read data in your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.

Every now and then, the Foundation’s site uses cookies to track the traffic patterns of the user. You may refuse to accept cookies by inactivating them in your navigator. You do not need to have your cookies activated to use Arcor Foundation’s Site. If you refuse to use cookies, the possibility that you may not have access to some aspects of the site exists.

Arcor Foundation’s Site may contain links with other sites. Arcor Foundation warns you that as it does not have the ownership of the information contained, or obtained through, these links, it is not responsible for the veracity of such or for the privacy policy of such sites.

You should keep in mind that conversation rooms, forums, message boards and/or news groups of other sites to which you may access through Arcor Foundation’s Site, are neither services rendered by Arcor Foundation nor it has control over contents or information by them provided. Remember that any information revealed in these areas comes to be of public domain and it is you the one who may take precautions when deciding whether to reveal personal information or not.

4. Who do we share information with?
Arcor Foundation’s Site does not share information about individual users with a third party or other companies. However, as it was mentioned before, the Site may share added statistical information on its use or Arcor Foundation services to adapt its content to the needs of users and clients in a better way in accordance with the demographic data compiled.

5. Options of the User of receiving information or not
If due to any reason Arcor Foundation decides to collect and use information that identifies the people for any purpose not listed before, Arcor Foundation shall inform the users on the use of information that may identify people individually. Notwithstanding any other provision of this statement to the contrary, Arcor Foundation may have the right to reveal certain private information if it were requested by general laws or regulatory or legal authorities to protect our rights and/or interests. Arcor Foundation has the capacity of collecting information about the users related to their interests. With the purpose of offering a better service and of adjusting Arcor Foundation’s experience to your needs, Arcor Foundation may offer you the option of receiving information of third parties on issues which may be of your interest, As mentioned before, Arcor Foundation may use contact information of the user to send him information on Arcor Foundation. Users may decide not to receive future information, modifying this option where it is marked or sending a message by e-mail indicating your name to: [write e-mail address]

6. Options of the User to modify the supplied information
Arcor Foundation’s Site offers the users the ability to correct or change the information collected during registration (see point 5 above). The instructions to do so may be found in the area of data updating. The users may change this information at any moment and as often as it may be necessary.

7. Safety Procedures.
When dealing with information that, from Arcor Foundation's point of view, protection is needed, the Site operates with standard industry protection systems and password protection. Arcor Foundation Site uses the safety protocol (which one?) to transfer data from the navigator to the server. Public information is not protected.

8. Changes in the Policy of Arcor Foundation referring to privacy.
If Arcor Foundation decides to change its privacy policy for the Site www.fundacionarcor.org shall announce such changes, in such a way that you will always know what information you are collecting, how such information could be used and if this shall be revealed to anybody.
